- क्या business, CCPA के लागू होने के दायरे में आता है
→ वार्षिक revenue $25 million से अधिक
→ हर साल 50,000 से अधिक California residents/devices के personal information को खरीदना, प्राप्त करना, बेचना या share करना
→ वार्षिक revenue का 50% से अधिक हिस्सा California residents के personal information की बिक्री से उत्पन्न होना
- क्या जो information इकट्ठा की जा रही है, वह CCPA के दायरे में आने वाली information है ( नीचे केवल उदाहरण दिए गए हैं )
→ नाम (छद्मनाम सहित), पता, फ़ोन नंबर, email address, Social Security Number (SSN), passport number, bank account number, credit card number
→ personal information जैसे लिंग, नस्ल, उम्र, वैवाहिक स्थिति, धर्म आदि
→ internet access records, search records, online activity history आदि
→ account name, IP address, online ऐसी information जिससे किसी व्यक्ति की पहचान की जा सके आदि
→ किसी व्यक्ति की संपत्ति का विवरण, shopping records, consumption history आदि
- क्या business activities, CCPA के लागू होने वाली activities में आती हैं
→ CCPA का मूल केंद्र यह है कि व्यावसायिक उद्देश्य से personal information को 'collect' करना, information को 'sell' करना, और information को 'disclose' करना—इन गतिविधियों को regulate किया जाता है
