iOS 26 के प्रमुख updates
- lock screen·home screen·app icons आदि पर Liquid Glass लागू, dynamic 3D effects, San Francisco font का screen के अनुसार बदलना, custom album art आदि से visual personality और मजबूत
- Camera app में photo/video-केंद्रित सरल interface, Photos app में 3D effects और tab features की वापसी के साथ library और collections tabs जोड़े गए
- Safari, FaceTime सहित प्रमुख apps में नया design और dynamic UI. Safari address bar अब transparent है. FaceTime landing page पर video messages देखे जा सकते हैं
- CarPlay: नया design और widgets जोड़े गए. navigation के दौरान phone call आने पर ऊपर transparent रूप में दिखेगा
- CarPlay Ultra: driver-specific widgets·layout, vehicle controls, और कई manufacturers के साथ partnerships मजबूत
- Phone/Messages app: integrated layout (favorites, recent calls, voicemail एक साथ)
- spam filtering: Call Screening पहले auto response देता है, और जब caller अपना नाम बताता है तो वह दिखता है, फिर phone ring दोबारा बजती है
- Hold Assist support: लंबे hold के दौरान अप्रिय music को mute करके call को side में रखा जा सकता है, और agent के जवाब देने पर फिर से ring से सूचित किया जाता है

iPadOS 26
- नया design, icons, widgets
- iPhone में जोड़े गए कई features अब iPad पर भी उपलब्ध
- multitasking: next-generation window management system
- window size·position बदली जा सकती है, और दोबारा launch करने पर size याद रहती है
- tile arrangement (किसी दिशा में फेंकना, split tiling), Exposé (swipe), menu bar के साथ पूरे features देखे जा सकते हैं
- Mini सहित सभी iPad पर support
- Files app: PDF·image editing, folder customization, किस app से file खुले यह तय करना, Dock में folders जोड़ने का support
- Preview app: Mac की Preview app अब iPad पर भी
- audio·video workflows: app-specific microphone selection, AirPods के साथ recording/control
- local capture: iPad पर video conference के audio/video को सीधे capture किया जा सकता है
- background tasks के ज़रिए लंबे समय वाले काम भी पूरे किए जा सकते हैं. progress ऊपर अलग से दिखाई जाएगी
- Math Notes, traditional calligraphy, Journal app आदि में भी कई updates (समय की कमी के कारण सबका परिचय नहीं दिया गया)
developers और tools
- Foundation Models framework के साथ apps में Apple Intelligence उपयोग करने के लिए API, Swift/SwiftUI improvements, और Icon Composer से Liquid Glass के अनुरूप icons बनाए जा सकते हैं
- Xcode में generative AI·code assist जोड़ा गया, ChatGPT support भी
