मेरी समझ में तरीका यह है: सिलिकॉन रबर में चुंबकीय कण डालकर उसे magnetize किया जाता है, फिर कई reference points पर magnetometer से magnetic field में बदलाव पकड़कर रबर की deformation पढ़ी जाती है और सतह के “pressure points” का विश्लेषण किया जाता है
यहां innovation शायद यह है कि manufacturing process इतनी consistent है कि हर खास magnetic silicone interface के लिए “input signal” को लंबे समय तक recalibrate किए बिना इसे replaceable part की तरह इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है
यानी advanced tactile sensors को custom hand-made nails की बजाय machine-cut screws जैसा बना देना
